Last updated: January 2025

Overview

Extracting members from Telegram groups is a powerful feature that allows you to build targeted contact lists for your marketing campaigns. This guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A connected Telegram account in your dashboard
  • Joined the target Telegram group
  • Sufficient permissions in the group (if required)
  • An active subscription plan (Free plan allows limited extractions)
  • Step-by-Step Guide

    1. Navigate to Extract & Message Tab

From your dashboard, click on the 'Extract & Message' tab. This is where you'll manage all your member extraction activities.

    2. Select Target Group

Click 'Select Group' and choose the Telegram group you want to extract members from. You'll see a list of all groups your connected account has joined.

    3. Configure Extraction Settings

    Choose your extraction preferences:

  • **All Members**: Extract all members from the group
  • **Active Members Only**: Extract only members who have been active recently
  • **Filter by Join Date**: Extract members who joined within a specific timeframe
  • 4. Start Extraction

Click 'Start Extraction' and wait for the process to complete. Depending on the group size, this may take a few minutes.

    5. Review Extracted Data

Once complete, you'll see a list of extracted members with their usernames, names, and other available information.

    Best Practices

  • Always respect Telegram's Terms of Service
  • Only extract members from groups where you have permission
  • Use extracted data responsibly and ethically
  • Don't spam users - send relevant, valuable messages only
  • Troubleshooting

Issue: Extraction fails or returns no results

Solution: Make sure you're a member of the group and have the necessary permissions. Some groups may have privacy settings that prevent member extraction.

Issue: Some members are missing from the extraction

Solution: Users with strict privacy settings may not appear in extractions. This is normal and respects user privacy.
